The Bird Eye View is a live board of every patient in the building today. At a glance you can see who’s about to arrive, who’s waiting, who’s in a chair, and who’s heading to checkout — so your team can keep the day flowing and no one is left waiting.
The lanes
Patients move left to right across five lanes as their visit progresses:
- Arriving soon — patients due in the next 30 minutes.
- Waiting room — patients who have checked in and are waiting to be seated.
- In operatory — patients currently in a chair, shown by room.
- Walking out — patients finishing up and heading to checkout.
- Finished — patients done for the day.
How to move a patient between lanes
- On the Bird Eye View, find the patient’s card in their current lane.
- Drag the card to the next lane — for example from Waiting room to In operatory.
- The board updates immediately, and the counts at the top adjust.
The KPI strip
Across the top, the board shows a count for each stage of the day:
- Scheduled today — every patient on the schedule, across all lanes.
- Arriving soon — patients due in the next 30 minutes.
- Waiting room — patients waiting to be seated, with the average wait time.
- In operatory — patients currently seated in a room.
- Walking out — patients heading to checkout.
- Finished — patients done for the day, with the production captured.
The Finished lane
The Finished lane keeps a running tally of how the day has gone: how many patients are done and the production captured so far.
