The mission

You know US dental insurance cold — payer rules, denial patterns, appeals, the edge cases that trip everyone else up. You’ll work side by side with our software team: putting the AI engine through its paces against real-world insurance, finding where it gets things wrong, and turning what you find into clear, structured feedback the team can build from. This isn’t about advising practices on their billing — it’s about making the engine itself smarter.

What you’ll do
  • Test the AI engine against real payer rules, denials, and edge cases
  • Pinpoint where it gets insurance wrong — and document exactly why
  • Translate messy insurance reality into structured, reproducible feedback engineers can act on
  • Work in tight feedback loops with the software team, sprint by sprint
  • Help define what “correct” looks like for the engine
  • Keep quality consistently high as payer rules and policies change

  • Deep US dental RCM / insurance expertise — you know payer behavior better than the payers do
  • Rigorous and detail-obsessed; you’re the one who finds the edge case everyone missed
  • You can turn a tangle of insurance rules into clear, structured feedback
  • You like working closely with a software team — this is a collaborative, hands-on role, not a consulting seat
